Eminems family moves to North Dakota

1973 Debbie left Eminem's father and moves back to St.Josephs, Kansas City
1976-1982 Several moves between Missouri and Michigan
1983 Ronnie, Eminem's uncle, gives him Ice-T's album 'Reckless'

1986

Nathan, Eminem's half brother is born
1986-1989 Eminem attends the Lincoln High School where he meets Proof. Eminem participates some rap battles in hiphop shops and founds with Proof, Mike Ruby and Jay Fields 'Basemant Productions'. The stage name M&M originates.
1990-1995 Eminem starts working at 'Gilbert's Lodge' (a small restaurant) as a cook and does the dishes ($5,50 per hour). He participates in freestyle battles in hiphop clubs and is rapping every week at 'Friday Night' (Radio WHYT-FM'. He meets Royce 5'9 and the rest of his crew D-12. Paul 'Bunyan' Rosenberg becomes Em's manager, which told him to change his stage name to EMINEM.
1990 Eminem is wounded by a neighbourhood gang

1995 Em receives a contract at 'Web Entertainment', a small record label in Detroit

Again working at 'Gilbert's Lodge' in Str. Clair Shorg to earn money for his daughter. He is rapping the menu on and on - and annoys the staff
1996 Eminem records 'Infinite': 1000 copies are distributed in Detroit. The record is not successfull - crtitcs say that it's 'fucked up'...
X-mas 1996 Eminem tries to commit suicide:
he swallows a handful 'Tynenol' tablets. He couldn't cope with the flop of 'Infinte' and that he was fired. He even has not enough money for Hailie's nappies. That's too much for him!
1997 Eminem introduces his 'alter ego' named 'Slim Shady'
1997 Release of 'The Slim Shady EP' (Web Entertainment)
1998 Participation at the legendary Rap Olimpycs: Eminem is on the second place. At the after-show-party he distributes demo tapes; Jimmy Iovine (Interscope Records) gets one and passes it to Dr. Dre.
1998 Eminem gets a record contract at Dre's Aftermath label.
