Royce's real name ist 'Ryan Montgomery', he is born in Detroit and grew ip in Oak Park, Michigan (suburb of Detroit).
Royce met Eminem when he was on
tour with Usher. Eminem sold 'The Slim Shady EP' to the visitors of
the concert. That was all before Em was at Interscope's record label.
They both liked each other from the beginning and started the project
'Bad Meets Evil':
1998 they released the 'Bad Meets Evil LP' and in may 1999 the 'Meets
Evil Single CD' under the label ofl 'Game Records' which sold more than
125,000 times without a true sales department.

Royce did also work on Eminem's 'The
Slim Shady LP', the track is Bad
Meets Evil. Royce is back at the label 'Game Records'. Now he is going
to publish his new album called 'Rock City'. The first single is also
called 'Rock
City' and was developed in collaboration with Eminem.
